Main argumant so far is that an Ice Age lasts foe about 100.000 years and the interglacial period ( Europe ice free ) for about 12.000 years and now it's time for a new Ice period of 100.000 years. Some say it can take a few thousands years dor a Ice period to work it's way through but there are strong arguments suggesting it could happen within a few years or 20 years the most.
