We notice that 7% of the Fins are unemployed compared to 25% of the foreigners. This is a 3.5 x higher rate for foreigners.
The argument that Finland has a higher refugee to immigrant ratio is wrong because 1 out of 5 foreigners in Finland is a refugee.
In Germany now ( as of 2002 ) 9% of the Germans are unemployed and 18% of the Foreigners. A ratio of 1:2
Back to the argument of the Finish woman B: that Finland has a higher refugee to immigrant ratio compared to Germany. Actually the reverse is the case. Germany has a higher refugee to immigrant ratio then Finland ( the fact that Germany has a 16.4 higher population then Finland is in the calculation )
Germany is hit by a high unemployment rate of former communist East Germany = 25% has a higher unemployment rate then Finland: 9% compared with 7 in Finland, has a higher refugee to immigrant ratio then Finland but has an unemployment rate of foreigners which is 100% higher fore foreigners compared with a 350% higher unemployment rate for Foreigners in Finland
http://www.nationmaster.com/graph/imm_ref-immigration-refugees
1.6% out of a population of 82 million are refugees in Germany
0.274% out of a population of 5 millions are refugees in Finland
1.8% of the population are foreigners in Finland
8.9% of the population are foreigners in Germany ( a difference of 1:4,9
compared to Finland )
The statistics are from 2005
One out of 5.6 foreigner is a refugee in Germany
One out of 6.5 foreigners is refugee in Finland
Back again to the former argument and drawing the conclusion:
Germany has a higher refugee to foreigner ratio then Finland
Germany has a higher percentage of foreigners then Finland
Germany has a higher unemployment rate then Finland
But
In Finland the ratio of unemployed foreigners to unemployed Fins is 1:3,5
Whereby in Germany it is only: 1:2
